Rotor Balancing, Vibration Analysis & Alignment
    News

    Rotor Balancing
Imbalance is created when a machine’s centre of rotation becomes compromised. This occurs when pieces adhere to or break off of the rotor, distorting the balance (Imbalance). Repairs to rotor blades also are a cause of imbalance. This imbalance will cause a chain reaction of damage to other mechanical parts (such as bearings, seals and shafts) thus magnifying the problem and repair costs.
    Advantages of Rotor Balancing
    • Less damage/wear to bearings, shafts, seals etc
    • Reduced downtime/loss of production
    • Efficient operation of machinery
    • Extended bearing lifespan

    Vibration Analysis
Mechanical vibration provides invaluable information re the health of your rotating equipment. Our state-of-the-art equipment and diagnostic techniques predict problems well in advance of breakdown, thus reducing unexpected downtime and repair costs. This improves equipment availability, eliminating unplanned reactive maintenance programs.
Vibration analysis requires tremendous skill and knowledge which only comes with experience. Your machines are the lifeblood of your organization. Make sure you have the experts on your team with experience and the latest technology to accurately diagnose and rectify vibration problems
    Advantages of Vibration Analysis
    • Reduces Repair and Maintenance Costs
    • Allows Planned & Scheduled Maintenance and Repairs
    • Improves Availability & Reliability
    • Radically Reduces Downtime & Costs
    • Reduces Major Repairs and Failures

Vibration analysis is essentially the heartbeat of all mechanical equipment. Capturing vibration allows an experienced vibration analyst to diagnose equipment ailments, such as worn bearings, imbalance & misalignment by measuring the amplitude and frequency of the vibration. Early detection will prevent equipment failure long before it can affect production and result in unnecessary expenses!

    Laser Alignment
Precision alignment ensures smooth operation of equipment as everything is working in unison. Often different machinery components are in a state of “resistance”, creating unwanted heat , load and wear resulting in premature & accelerated wear, reduced lifespan, unexpected failure and increased operating costs. Misaligned equipment performs inefficiently, increasing vibration and operating costs as well as decreasing components. We utilise the latest state-of-art technology to ensure Efficient Rotation
    Advantages of Alignment
    • Increased Lifespan
    • Reduced Maintenance Costs
    • Increased Availability
    • Decreased Unscheduled Downtime
New Techniques in Rotor Optimization and Drive Train Alignment
NewsImbalanced Rotor Blades and Misaligned Drive Trains result in unnecessary and expensive maintainance and repairs. Vibrations cause premature wear and tear , as well as unnecessary load to bearings and shafts resulting in failure of the Systems , Downtime and Reduced Availibility.

Prevention IS better than Cure !
